Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:00 a.m. We meet in fellowship after worship for juice, coffee and snacks.

Kathryn Duchow


Kathryn Grace Duchow, Age 86, of Willard, Missouri, formerly of Monroe died on Monday, June 5, 2006 at her home. Kathryn was born on March 7, 1920 in Monroe, Wisconsin, the daughter of Walter and Lydia (Trachsel) Johnson. She graduated from Monroe High School in l 938 and attended Brown's Business College prior to working for Lance-Johnson Insurance for eight years. She married Ralph L. Dudhow on September 6, 1947. She worked at the Whitehaven Nursing Home in Monroe before moving to Missouri in l 976. Mrs. Duchow was confirmed and married at the E.U.B. Church in Monroe and was a member of Mount Zion Presbyterian Church in Willard. She also belonged to the V.F.W. Auxiliary to Cecil Jones Post #2312 in Monroe, Daughters of the American Revolution Col. Benjamin Harrison chapter of Monroe, and the Womens Relief Corp.

Survivor include two daughters, Susan (Leon) Baertschi of Springfield, MO, and Sally Duchow of Willard, MO; five grandchildren, Kim Baertschi, Cori (Bobby) Dykes, Tessa Baertschi (Chris Rogers), Jake and Matt Duchow; four greatgrandchildren, Sicily and Sadie Blakey, Wyatt and Garrett Dykes; a brother, Herbert (Dorothy) Johnson; and a brother-in- law, Floyd Stuckey, both of Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph, on August 31, 1982, a son and daughter-in-law, Chester and Doris Duchow, and two grandsons, Frank and Thomas Duchow all on May 10, 1988.

The funeral service for Kathryn was held on June 10 in Monroe, Wisconsin and burial was in Union Hill Cemetery, Oakley, Wl.
